Termites and Pest Control services

Your quarterly pest control may handle your roaches, spiders and earwigs, but it doesn’t help with termites. Sometimes homeowners assume that the pest control service is also taken care of their termites, but this is not true just because you see your pest control technician treating the exterior of the home does not mean that that treatment will take care of all insects. This is because termites do not live on the surface, where the pesticides that we treat for pest are placed. They they live deeper under the soil than what typical pesticides can reach. For a termite treatment you have to either place a bait station in the ground, where it goes deep enough that the termites can get to it or dig a trench and perform a liquid treatment around the structure where the product can get deep deep enough to affect the termites.
